Ayden Museum

Since its inception, The Ayden Historical and Arts Society's mission has been the establishment of a museum  to preserves and honor the rich history and the artistic culture of Ayden. We have received strong support from the Town of Ayden in both physical and financial form. We have the use of the town-owned historic Dixon Medical Building. We also receive stron support from the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge.

History

Founded in 2015

The Ayden Historical and Arts Society was organized in 2015 to preserve and honor the town's past for those who remember it and for those who want to learn about our rich history. We have target exhibits including the following: medical, military, education, toy/doll, home, agricultural, church, sports, collections, and rotating art exhibits.  We offer many opportunities for citizens to research our town's history as well as family history.
